On April 12, 1692, Rebecca Nurse, John Proctor, and Elizabeth Proctor were sent to Boston Prison. In addition, Martha Corey attacked Abigail Williams.
In Abigail Williams’ testimony of May 31, she stated that Martha Corey attacked her on March 14, 20, 21, and 23, as well as April 12, 13, and 14. Abigail testified that the apparition of Martha Corey dragged her back and forth, pinched her, and tempted her to sign the Devil’s book. She also said she frequently saw Goody Corey at the Devil’s Sabbath.
